능동형→현재분사 수동형→과거분사로 써야돼!!

♣'－ing'와 pp의 정확한 구분

준동사를 현재분사(－ing)로 쓸 것인가，과거분사(pp)로 쓸 것인가는 명사(주어，보어，목적어)의 앞이나 뒤에서 혹은 분사구문의 형식으로 수식하는 대상과 받는 대상의 관계가 수동인가 능동인가에 의해서 결정된다.

명확한 이해를 위해 다음 두 문장을 살펴보자.

A: The old man writing the book looked happy.

B: The book written in easy English is a must for students.

A에서 old man과 write의 관계는 능동이다.

다시 말해서 노인이 책을 '쓰는' 행위의 주체가 되므로 현재분사형이 와야 한다.

반면 B에서 book과 write의 관계를 살펴보면， 책이 '쓰여진' 것이므로 수동을 나타내는 과거분사형이 와야 한다.

다음의 두 경우를 예문을 참고하여 확실히 익히자.

1.명사 전·후치 수식의 능동·수동

①For me， the orientation was quite boring but not as boring as the meeting held after.

②He volunteered for an organization for disadvantaged children through the internet.

2.분사구문의 능동·수동
