오늘 실용문 해설 시간에는 미국의 한 초등학교에서 학부모에게 보내는 가정 통신문을 살펴보도록 한다.

대부분의 북미지역 학교에서는 한 달에 한 번씩 아래와 같은 형식의 가정통신문을 학부모에게 발송한다.

Report Cards

Please note that report cards will be issued on Monday，December 8.

Reporting to parents is part of the ongoing process of assessment and evaluation.

Report cards are also one more way of helping students learn about their learning.

Please complete the attached form if you would like to attend student－led conferences or have an interview with the teacher.

Pancake Breakfast : December 10

With the help from parents and the Seattle Fire Department，Taylor Park will be hosting a Pancake breakfast for students on wednesday，December 10th.

There will be a special visit by Santa Claus.

All students are encouraged to wear their pajamas！

Kindergarten students are welcome to come with parents.

Early Dismissal : December 11

Students will be dismissed at 1;45 on Thursday，December 11 to facilitate parent－teacher conferences.

Christmas Concert : December 12

Our Christmas Concert is on Friday，December 12 at 1;00.

All students will be performing.

We look forward to seeing you.

Food Drive : December 1 ~ December 15

The holiday season is a good time for students to learn about generosity.

Taylor Park is collecting food items for our school community.

We will be accepting donations beginning Monday，December 1st and continuing until Monday，December 15th.

We use the food donations to put together food hampers that will be delivered on Thursday，December 18th.

If your family is in need of food，please leave a message with our secretary，Mrs. Ameixa at 604－555－1111.

Choir : December 19

The Taylor Park Choir will be performing for holiday shoppers at the Brentwood Mall on Friday，December 19 at 1:00 p.m. in the middle of the lower level of the mall.

Parents are welcome to attend，but must provide their own transportation to the mall.

팬케이크 중식 : 12월10일

학부모와 시애틀 소방서의 도움으로，Taylor Park 초등학교는 12월0일 수요일에 학생들에게 팬케이크 중식을 제공할 것입니다.

산타클로스의 특별 방문도 있을 것입니다.

모든 학생들은 파자마를 입고 올 것을 권장합니다.

유치원생들은 부모님과 함께 참석하는 것도 환영합니다.

단축수업 : 12월11일

12월11일 목요일에는 학부모－교사 컨퍼런스에 필요한 공간 확보 관계로 학생들의 수업은 오후 1시 45분에 끝나게 됩니다.

크리스마스 콘서트 : 12월12일

우리 학교의 크리스마스 콘서트가 12월 12일 오후 1시에 열립니다.

모든 학생들이 연주에 참여할 것입니다.

학부모님들이 참석하시기를 바랍니다.

음식물 기부 : 12월1 ~ 15일

연말기간은 학생들이 관용을 배우기 좋은 때입니다.

Taylor Park 학교는 학교 공동체를 위한 음식물을 모으고 있습니다.

12월1일 월요일에서 12월15일 월요일까지 음식물 기부를 받습니다.

우리는 기부 받은 음식물을 음식물 전용 바구니에 보관해 두었다가 12월18일 전달할 예정입니다.

만일 귀하의 가정에 음식물이 부족하다면 604－555－1111로 전화하셔서 서무 담당인 Ameixa씨에게 메시지를 남겨 두십시오.

합창 : 12월19일

Taylor Park 합창단은 연말을 맞아 Brentwood 몰에서 쇼핑하는 사람들을 위해 12월19일 금요일 오후 1시에 쇼핑몰 아래층의 중앙에서 공연을 열 것입니다.

학부모님들께서 참석하시는 것은 환영하지만 쇼핑몰까지의 교통편은 스스로 마련하셔야 합니다.
